Candle Making at The Soap Dispensary
The Soap Dispensary is another local business here on Main Street, about 10 blocks south of our store. Since 2011, The Soap Dispensary has been Vancouver’s first dedicated refill shop specializing in premium soaps, household cleaners, personal care products, DIY ingredients and fine edibles.
They also carry other lifestyle goods that encourage and support zero waste living. On Thursday May 18th from 7:00 – 9:30pm you can join chandler, Monica Mueller in the basics of candle-making. You will learn classic techniques to make different varieties including tapers, tea lights, votives, floaters and birthday candles in soy, parrafin, beeswax, and recycled wax. Check out the other classes they are currently offering!
And we would be remiss if we did not mention the Needle Felting Workshops offered in our store every other Saturday. Taught by the talented Yuki of Honey Canada, our next class is May 13th and there are still a few spaces open!
We hope that these classes inspired you to take up a new hobby or resurrect an old love. Let us know of any other workshops held in the Vancouver area in the comments below!
